A once-a-month event hosted by Yamaha Music Square, usually held on the second Saturday of the month - Up on the Roof is a 90-minute gig for music aficionados in the city. The event showcases and promotes talented artists and bands from Schools, Colleges and Corporate with different influences like Rock, Funk Rock, Jazz, Metal and more. SKRAT, E-FLAT, BLUE NOTE, BASS-IN BRIDGE, OFF THE RECORD & NO STRINGS ATTACHED are some of the popular bands that have performed so far and the shows were witnessed by a good number of attendees including celebrities, musicians, music students and other music lovers in Chennai. Limited Passes (free-of-cost) are made available at the store a week ahead of the program.
